Hospital Policies
Appointment Policy
We schedule all routine care by appointment. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow for check-in and paperwork, especially if it's your first visit. This helps us minimize wait times and give each pet the attention they deserve.
Squeeze-In & Urgent Visits
We understand that pets can get sick unexpectedly. For urgent but non-life-threatening concerns, we offer same-day “squeeze-in” appointments whenever possible. These are offered at the doctor’s discretion depending on our availability and your pet’s condition.
Note for new clients: Due to high daily demand, squeeze-ins are only available to established clients. If you are new to our hospital and your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please contact one of the 24-hour facilities listed on our Emergency Services page.
Prescription Policy
Prescription refills must be called in ahead of time to ensure timely preparation. Same-day pickup is available between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM for refill requests received before 2:30 PM. Requests made after 2:30 PM will be ready the following business day. You’re welcome to pick up approved prescriptions on any future day during our regular business hours.
We also offer a trusted online pharmacy through Covetrus for convenient home delivery. You can access it directly here.
Late & No-Show Policy
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a required deposit for future bookings.
Aggressive or Disruptive Pets
If your pet has special handling needs or a history of reactivity, please let us know when scheduling. Muzzles or light sedation may be required. We reserve the right to refuse service if safety is at risk.
Client Conduct
We strive to provide a respectful and welcoming environment for all. Abusive, threatening, or aggressive behavior toward our staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from our practice.
